The site’s proximity to Mersey Wharf Port and Peel Ports in Liverpool help reduce transport costs and lower our CO2e impact, this has helped transform the facility into one of the UK’s most modern rebar production plants, with a capacity of over 6,500 tonnes per month.
We invested heavily in advanced rebar processing equipment with World Interface Systems, allowing direct order transmission to machines, reducing errors, and ensuring timely delivery. Our updated facility also enables the production of complex 3D shapes, with real-time design feedback.

Why Capital Reinforcing
We have over 25 years industry experience and work from our purpose built facilities in the Merseyside area. The business is located next door to Mersey Wharf, Steel terminal port allowing the business rapid access to its stocks while also reducing the companies need for road haulage.
We have an experienced sales team and have worked on some of the biggest construction projects in the UK such as HS2, Seah Wind Project, Carrington Power Station, Mersey Gateway bridge, Liverpool FC redevelopment and many other prestigious projects around the UK and Ireland.

Engineer - Merseylink CCJV
Our commercial team had made contact with Capital Reinforcing to discuss the supply of the Steel Reinforcement on the Mersey Gateway Project main bridge. We had some difficulty in getting the special shape code 99 rebar made to the correct dimensions on the support piers of the main bridge. After several meetings with Capital Reinforcing they gave us a solution to change the way the design had been presented and made some sample loads for us prior to being given the contract. We had received the test loads from them and with the change in design they were able to supply one of the most difficult sections on the project on the main support piers on the bridge. We were very happy with the supply and had no complaints to give them as the quality and delivery of the steel was produced to an excellent standard. We would certainly like to work with Capital Reinforcing on any future projects we have in the UK.

Project Manager - Large Silo Project
On our project that lasted three months, Capital Reinforcing delivered approx. 1300T of rebar, with a lot of complex bending and large percentage of that was radius rebar. Close collaboration with contracts and planning manager, sales representatives and site team, the project went very smooth. The Capital Reinforcing team were very helpful, if I needed any extra cut and bent rebar, it was delivered when required and as per the materials as requested. The Capital Reinforcing team were always pleasant to deal with, good communication with regards to deliveries, well in advance notifications. Lorries came to site loaded for an easy off loading, neat bundles and well stacked. We would be using Capital Reinforcing again on future project for sure.
